Desiccant Dehumidification
In view of the upsurge in technical innovations now emerging and the increasing awareness of the need to protect the environment, there is a mounting demand for higher quality products and energy conservation. Effective air control of the manufacturing line is necessary to address these demands. Existing air handling units are not adequate to achieve low dew point air conditions or air with a low relative humidity while also achieving lower energy consumption. One way to resolve this problem is a desiccant dehumidification system using silica gel or zeolite.

Features


This desiccant dehumidification system employs an adsorbent, so it can be used over a wide range of temperature and humidity conditions.


It can be used under low temperature, low humidity conditions where the use of cooling systems is ineffective or impractical.

Example: Dehumidifying outside air in winter, supplying dry air with a dew point of -40°C, supplying air with low relative humidity.

Good performance is achieved even under high humidity conditions where use of the Lithium Chloride system (absorption dehumidification) is difficult.

A selection of different adsorbents enables use in a wide range of applications.
